Getting Started

This page covers the fastest path from a fresh system to a working two-user test.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • the management UI URL
  • the operator client server URL
  • an admin username and password
  • working microphones and speakers or headsets for each operator

Default endpoints in a standard deployment:

  • management UI: http://<server>:4567
  • client connection URL: ws://<server>:45678/ws

First-Time Setup Order

Use this sequence:

  1. Sign in to the management UI.
  2. Create a profile.
  3. Create users.
  4. Assign the profile to those users.
  5. Add keys to the profile.
  6. Ask operators to sign in through the client.
  7. Verify audio in both directions.

For a simple test:

  1. Create a profile named Studio A.
  2. Create two users.
  3. Assign both users to Studio A.
  4. Add direct keys or party-line keys to that profile.
  5. Have each operator sign in on a separate device.
  6. Enable Listen and Talk as needed on both clients.
  7. Confirm that audio meters move and both users can hear each other.

After The First Test

Once the basic path works:

  • create role-based profiles for different desks or positions
  • add party lines for shared team communication
  • set a default password policy for newly created users
  • review operator audio settings on each device
